Current Occupation or school that you attend? (if you do not feel like sharing you do not have to)
I am a full-time student at California State University Los Angeles, and what I am studying is communications with a focus on intersectional identities and relationships.
I am really thinking about some sort of media career. Working for news or still keeping it within the entertainment industry so that I can still incorporate fashion and modeling together.
How long have you been into fashion?
I want to say since 2015, that’s when it just really clicked for me. I said to myself I really like fashion being able to express yourself, there was always people that were trying to hold me back saying “that doesn’t look good, that’s not your color or doesn’t fit right” I eventually let all that go and told myself that I am going to wear what I want to wear, and as I did that I started to like fashion more and more and more.
What got you into fashion?
I think it was just a way of wanted to express myself and I used to always watch project runway, America’s next top model and stuff like that. As I continued to watch more and more even I thought oh wow you can actually do a lot with fashion.
How would you describe your fashion?
Old and new together. I will shop for things at the thrift store but ill also shop for things at a Calvin Klein store or Urban Outfitters. It depends on what part of LA you go. On every corner is a thrift store.
How has living in LA shaped your style and your fashion sense?
LA has a really big art scene and part of the art scene is obviously fashion. It depends on what part of LA you go. On every corner is a thrift store. I always hear that LA has the best thrift scene so I started to take a look for myself so yea I could say LA helped shape that, the art scene.
Where do you find your inspiration for your style? And what influences you the most?
I wouldn’t say individuals but there have been people I’ve seen where I say oh I like how that put that together. I would say Asap rocky is definitely one of them, Jaden Smith is one, Jay Versace is definitely another one too. Also Frank Ocean as well.
Who is your fashion spirit animal? Who inspires you? (artist, athlete, actor etc.)
That’s a really good question, I would have to say Frank Ocean.
What are your favorite fashion pieces? (hats, belts, hoodies etc.)
I’m more on the side of everything just comes together and it depends on more of how I feel. If I feel more like wearing something cool then I will wear something cool if I feel like doing something plain and simplistic then I’ll do something plain and simplistic.
What are your favorite brands?
I don’t think it goes under a brand but I really like Urban Outfitters because they have a thrift scene to them. Calvin Klein, Forever 21, more of department shows in a way, not so much brands. And Hollister, Hollister for sure.
What current fashion trends are you loving right now? Which ones are you hating?
One of them that I’m almost wearing every day is for sure ripped jeans. That is one of the biggest fashion trends that I followed and will always follow. Idk what it is about it but it always works for me.
Something that I don’t like is the Timbs. Uh uh, I don’t like those. That I can’t do.
Do you have a dream fashion piece? (a specific coat, belt, pants etc.)
It would be a Givenchy Paris sweater.
What are your goals and aspirations with fashion? Where do you see yourself ending up?
Well, I really want to sign to an agency of course. I am definitely want to sign to one of the bigger ones.
